Announcing Our Q1 2025 HOPE Hero Dr. Tina Thakrar!

We're thrilled to celebrate Dr. Tina Thakrar, Psychiatrist and Psychiatry Lead, as our HOPE Hero for Q1 2025! Dr. Thakrar has been making a difference in our organization for 6 years and continues to exemplify our HOPE Values every day. 

Our HOPE Hero Award recognizes individuals who live out our HOPE Values: Humility, Optimism, People-Centered, and Ethical Practice.  

Representatives of the HOPE Squad, Jean Ysbrand (Chief HR Officer) and Alex Davis (HOPE Squad Chair), presented her with this award during the Psychiatry All-Staff Meeting on August 12.  

CEO Mark Peterson, Chief Operating Officer Mike Chappuis, and other members of the Executive Team joined to recognize Dr. Thakrar’s unique contributions to the organization. 

The notes from those who nominated her paint a vivid picture of someone who lives our HOPE values. They said: 

• “She is always willing to solve problems and is realistic and understanding. In a world where child and adolescent mental health is in crisis, she leads and mentors an incredible department of providers who make a difference every day.”  

• “Dr. Thakrar fosters a supportive, collaborative work environment, always leading by example. Her mentorship and guidance inspire our team to grow professionally.” 

• “She approaches patient care as a people-centered provider, ensuring that every patient, family, and team member feels heard, valued, and supported.” 

Mark Peterson commented during the presentation that Dr. Thakrar exemplifies our HOPE values in the way she shows up every day. "Her commitment, passion, and dedication speak to the values," he said. Dr. Thakrar shared: "This was an unexpected surprise. I feel privileged to do the work on this team with my supervisees and patients."
