More About Amber Gillett
Clinical Interests:
Amber provides individual and family therapy. She is able to see clients from birth to the elderly. She is experienced in treating a wide variety of mental health issues including trauma, borderline personality, depression, and anxiety. Amber is trained to provide DBT but utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to help her clients.
Clinical Approach:
Amber is supportive of her clients and is open and nonjudgemental. She wants to help people make their lives better and happier. Amber’s favorite coping skill is humor. She will go at your pace, working on what you feel is important. I am open to bringing spirituality and religion into the session if the client so desires.
Hobbies:
Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and her dogs. She enjoys fishing in the summer and enjoys being out in nature, especially on or near our lakes here in Minnesota. She also enjoys playing games on her tablet and watching YouTube in her free time.
