More About Angie Mohs
Clinical Interests:
Children and adolescents of all ages, with a special interest in early childhood mental health (ages 0–5). Clinical interests include anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, attachment and parent-child relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, family stress, parenting support, foster care and adoption-related concerns, and helping children and families navigate difficult or overwhelming experiences.
Clinical Approach:
I use a warm, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that meets children and adolescents where they are developmentally and emotionally. I believe therapy should feel safe, engaging, and collaborative. Depending on the child’s age and needs, I may incorporate play, creative activities, movement, coping skills, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and relationship-based interventions. I also value partnering with parents and caregivers when appropriate, especially with younger children, to help strengthen relationships and support progress outside of the therapy room.
Hobbies:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting and creative projects, exploring new places, attending community events, and relaxing with my Saint Bernard, Bernadette. I also enjoy finding fun activities to do with my kids and bringing creativity and playfulness into everyday life.
