More About Cayla Paumen
Clinical Interests:
I have experience working with both adults and children, and providing compassionate, evidence-based care across all stages of life is one of my biggest interests. Furthermore, my interests are strongly centered around mental health, substance use disorders, and the factors that influence an individual’s well-being. I am particularly passionate about understanding the intersection of mental health and addiction, and how early intervention, trauma-informed care, and community-based support can improve long-term outcomes. I aim to deliver holistic care that addresses not only physical health but also the emotional, psychological, and social aspects contributing to overall wellness.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is rooted in creating an inclusive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. I want to foster an environment that encourages openness, creativity, and self-expression—recognizing that healing can take many forms. While I aim to cultivate a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels comforting, I also strive to maintain clear and respectful professional boundaries to ensure client-centered care. My goal is to build trusting therapeutic relationships that empower clients to move toward meaningful personal growth.
Hobbies:
I deeply value creativity, and being able to express yourself through art is something I truly value. Spending time outdoors allows me to recharge and maintain balance. I also find great joy in reading, particularly books that expand my perspective and deepen my understanding of the human experience. I cherish quality time with family and friends, believing that strong relationships and shared moments are essential to a fulfilling life.
