More About Darian Ogilvie
Clinical Interests:
I am an outpatient provider specializing in addiction treatment, with a strong commitment to evidence‑based, compassionate care. My clinical interests include supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders, addressing co‑occurring mental health concerns, and integrating trauma‑informed and harm‑reduction approaches into treatment. I have a particular passion for working with young adults, families, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those experiencing stress or burnout. I am dedicated to reducing stigma, expanding access to care, and collaborating across disciplines to support long‑term healing and recovery.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is collaborative, trauma‑informed, and grounded in evidence‑based practices. I work to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change at their own pace. I integrate modalities such as motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT skills to help clients build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and navigate the challenges of recovery. I use a parts/internal family systems approach. I view treatment as a partnership, focusing on each person’s strengths, values, and goals while honoring the complex interplay between substance use, mental health, and life experiences.
Hobbies:
Outside of my clinical work, I value staying active through sports like basketball and softball, and I enjoy spending meaningful time with my family—especially my English bulldog, who keeps life entertaining. I also love traveling and exploring new places, as it helps me stay grounded and connected to the world beyond the therapy room.
