More About Dukhyung Lee

Clinical Interests:

I am an empathetic, gentle, and compassionate therapist who works with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and age ranges. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, complex family systems, life transitions, general mental health, and identity formation. I also specialize in challenges that arise from racial and multicultural identity, immigration and acculturation experiences, multigenerational family dynamics, leveraging my first-hand experience as a multicultural first generation South Korean BIPOC immigrant, curiosity, and passion around the subject.

Clinical Approach:

My approach to therapy is strength-based, client-centered, and collaborative. I try to blend practical coping tools with an understanding of how people are shaped by their relationships and environments. I strive to listen closely, stay curious, take people’s experiences seriously, and support them in making their own choices rather than telling them what to do. I work with the base assumption that everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they have, and that growth is always possible.

If you are looking for a space where you can be seen, heard, and supported, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to navigate this challenge alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you and to provide support that is tailored to who you are and what you seek as an individual. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you!

Hobbies:

Outside of work, I enjoy boxing, listening to music, watching shows, lots of anime, movies, and playing video games with friends on PC and console.
