More About Elizabeth Wolter

Clinical Interests:

I am passionate about supporting individuals aged 16 and older, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for those navigating a variety of life challenges. I work with clients from diverse cultural, social, and personal backgrounds, and I am particularly focused on addressing issues related to mental health and well-being. My clinical interests include helping individuals manage and overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and the complexities of life transitions. Additionally, I am committed to assisting those affected by substance use disorders, recognizing the deep connection between mental health and addiction. My approach is collaborative, grounded in empathy, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is grounded in creating a supportive, empathetic environment where you feel heard, respected, and safe to explore your thoughts and feelings. I utilize a person-centered and strengths-based framework, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and experiences. I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques to help clients build resilience, develop coping skills, and enhance emotional regulation. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process where you are an active participant in setting goals and shaping your own path to healing and growth. My focus is on empowering you to tap into your own strengths and wisdom, believing wholeheartedly that you are the expert in your life and have the ability to create lasting positive change.

Hobbies:

In my free time, I love spending time outdoors and staying active. Whether it’s camping, biking, hiking, kayaking, or just walking my dog, I find peace and joy in nature. Gardening is another passion of mine, where I can unwind and connect with the earth. I also enjoy practicing yoga to stay grounded, and nothing beats relaxing around a campfire with family and friends, sharing stories and creating memories. These activities help me maintain balance and recharge, and I always look forward to the time I get to spend with the people and pets I love.
