Clinical Approach:
I think curiosity is the best mindset to have with human services work. If we become too narrow in our thinking, we never zoom out to consider alternatives in our approach, and we must let those we serve tell us who they are and what they need, and work together to get where we want to go. I take a person-centered and contextual approach to my work and advocacy, and very much enjoy being a consistent and sedulous practitioner.
Hobbies:
In my spare time I continue to work towards my eventual goal of obtaining my doctorate in psychology. For fun though, I enjoy building and crafting pop-art, spending time with my partner and training our puppy Pepper, reading, and playing video games.
