Clinical Interests:

Eva values working with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. While working with her clients, she takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to create treatment plans focused on reducing symptoms and improving quality of life. Eva is passionate about guiding clients in reaching their treatment goals, and feeling like a better version of themselves. Eva has been interested in the mental health field as long as she can remember, and has always had a drive to establish meaningful connections with others and get to know them at a deeper level.  Eva is certified in LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care, and strives to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental and encourages clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Clinical Approach:

Eva utilizes evidenced-based therapeutic approaches such as client-centered care, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. Eva aspires to support clients in developing coping skills, feeling empowered, embracing life’s uncertainties, and developing adaptive thinking patterns. Eva is driven to assist clients who experience suicidal ideation and self-injurious behavior in establishing skills related to interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and ultimately building a life worth living. Eva is dedicated to working with individuals facing OCD and anxiety in increasing tolerance of uncertainty and doubt, and developing skills to sit with anxiety without performing compulsions. Eva also has experience working with clients experiencing concerns such as life stressors, depression, anger management, relationship issues, boundary setting, communication skills, guilt, and shame.

Hobbies:

In her free time, Eva enjoys cooking new recipes, hiking, running, playing with her cat Daisy, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves expressing creativity through writing, as well as watching horror or psychological thriller movies.
