Clinical Interests:

My clinical interests include working with individuals age ranges from adolescents to early retirement, people part of the military and first responder communities along with anyone part of the adoption constellation. I utilize evidence based practices such as trauma informed therapy along with EMDR therapy to help people manage their mental health symptoms. Each person has a story to tell and I am interested in hearing their story along with walking along side of them to help strengthen their overall mental health.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach includes a client centered focus in order to best work together as team to meet the clients’ mental health needs. I believe the best practice for serving clients is when the clinician and client work together as a team. We will agree upon mutual goals to determine what will best serve clients’ mental health needs in order to help determine the next steps to live the most balanced lifestyle. I firmly believe a strong working relationship is the number one indicator of a successful professional therapist-client dynamic. During sessions, I will work on building rapport with clients through direct honesty along with the occasional dose of humor.

Hobbies:

I enjoy time with family, geocaching, traveling, getting lost in a good book, coloring along with playing card and board games.
