More About Isabella Fears
Clinical Interests:
As a clinical counseling intern, my primary interests center on supporting adolescents and young adults. Particularly those facing challenges with emotional regulation, conflict resolution, self-esteem/identity issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, and family conflict. I am especially drawn to working with clients navigating multicultural identities, cultural expectations, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences on mental health. Although, I am open to working with a variety of demographics (i.e., age, race, culture, religion, etc.) for a variety of reasons.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approaches are diverse. I often use components from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), person-centered therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Narrative therapy, and (ACT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading, journaling, listening to music, watching a variety of different movies, and spending time with my family.
