More About Jacqueline Buerger

Clinical Interests:

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and eating disorders, while also supporting clients through life transitions such as career changes, relocation, or loss. I have a strong focus on helping individuals manage health-related challenges, including chronic illness and wellness goals. Additionally, I work with parents navigating the stress of parenting young children and assist individuals and couples with relationship concerns, including communication issues and conflict resolution. I am also passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, offering a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their identities. My approach is tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing evidence-based methods to promote healing and growth.

Clinical Approach:

I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal growth in an authentic way. My approach to therapy is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration and healing. I believe in the importance of authenticity and strive to help clients meet their goals. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, navigating family circumstances and relationship struggles, using a holistic approach that considers emotional, mental, and physical well-being. I value strength and resilience, and while I offer compassionate support, I’m also known for being straightforward and blunt in a constructive way—challenging clients to push through obstacles and grow. My goal is to empower clients to develop coping skills, gain insight, and ultimately live a more fulfilling, balanced, and authentic life.

Hobbies:

Outside of therapy, I’m a busy wife and mom to two little ones, ages 1 and 3, which keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy (and chaos). I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hunting, fishing, hiking, or gardening. Staying active is important to me, and I enjoy lifting weights to keep both my mind and body strong. I also have a passion for construction projects and am almost always working on something around the house. Whether it’s a small DIY project or a larger renovation, I enjoy the creativity and hands-on work it brings. These activities help me stay grounded and balanced as I juggle family, work, and personal wellness.
