Janel is a compassionate therapist with a desire to help people navigate life’s challenges. Janel enjoys working with people aged mid-teen to adult. Her approach is collaborative and person-centered, working to foster trust and openness.

Understanding each person is unique with different needs, Janel integrates psychodynamic, existential, and mindfulness based approaches with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her work. Janel has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which she uses to help clients reprocess difficult situations and traumas-big and small. Confident in the resilience of the human spirit and the restorative power of the brain, she guides clients through their healing process. Janel’s intuitive and empathetic nature allows her to connect with clients, ensuring they feel genuinely cared for and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. Janel is passionate about helping people achieve personal growth through mental and emotional well-being while gaining a greater understanding of self. Outside of work, Janel enjoys traveling, reading, meditating, spending time with loved ones, geeking out on sci-fi and enjoying the beauty in nature, art, and music.
