More About Jeff Beirow

Clinical Interests:

As a therapist I have experience in working with at-risk adolescents and their families in an intensive outpatient setting as well as with individuals, couples and running groups. Currently, my passion is in working with adults aged 18-25, with couples, and in running groups. I love to work with all clients and have worked with people from a range of backgrounds, experiences and mental health issues.

Clinical Approach:

I believe that creating a safe, reliable and trusting therapeutic space and relationship is the first step in therapy so you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences. I believe in collaborating with you and/or your family to achieve your goals. I believe in working with you to foster awareness, confidence, authenticity, meaning and joy in your life as you go through life. My therapeutic framework draws from person-centered, family systems theory, existentialism, mindfulness and solution focused modalities.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, family, friends and my wonderful dog, Crylic. Right now I am doing a lot of reading/audiobooks, playing video games, and watching movies and shows as well as going to concerts. I am new to Madison so am also exploring the city and surrounding areas!
