Clinical Approach:
I believe in taking an eclectic approach to therapy as everything depends on the need(s) of the client. Although we’re trained as professional clinicians in evidence based therapy models, I believe in holding the safe space for clients to direct their therapy. In other words, I may be utilizing some skills from my education however, I believe clients have the ability to clearly state what they need and want to improve their lives. When clients feel safe to share, when there is no judgment in the therapy room, therapy happens on it’s own, naturally. We are all here to support each other and it’s a privilege going on each and every journey along side of my clients. ‘In our own vulnerability, lies perfect safety’.
Hobbies:
I love nature & the outdoors, volunteering in my community, gardening, canning food, movies, exploring new adventures with family & friends, anything about music, and singing to my plants.
