Clinical Interests:
I work with children and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, trauma, family stressors, grief and loss, school stressors, peer difficulties, impulsivity, irritability, anger, suicidal ideation, and behavioral difficulties. I also have experience working with immigrant families and can provide therapy in Spanish.
Clinical Approach:
While working with clients, I employ a collaborative, person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy and pulls from a variety of therapeutic approaches, particularly using attachment and polyvagal theories, Circle of Security Parenting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Developmental Repair, Mindful Self-compassion, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, play therapy, and EMDR.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading, walking, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
