More About Jennifer Wallis
Clinical Interests:
Jen is a compassionate and empathetic therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. She works with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions.
Clinical Approach:
Jen’s approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. She believes in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, gaining insight into how these patterns shape their lives. Jen places a strong emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship and believes that trust, collaboration, and empowerment are key to the healing process.
Hobbies:
In her free time, Jen finds joy in music – both listening to and performing, reading thriller novels, and drinking good coffee while snuggling with her cat. She also enjoys exploring state parks and finding new hiking trails with her partner.
