More About Jessie McDole

Clinical Interests:

I really enjoy working with a variety of clients and with a variety of client concerns that prompt individuals to seek therapy. I have experience working with older teens and adults throughout the lifespan. I work with clients who are going through life transitions as well as with common concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and traumatic experiences.

Clinical Approach:

It is my belief that my clients are the experts in their life and their history. Because of this, I function in a partnership with my clients, working together toward identified goals. I work to get a good understanding of my client and their concern(s) and then I apply different treatment techniques that are known to be effective. Some examples of this are CBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Narrative Therapy, Role Play, Relaxation, and Meditation.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and doing different activities with them. In my time off I watch movies, read books, and go for walks. Being outside and in nature is something that brings me joy and healing. Because of this, I spend a decent amount of time each summer camping. I love flowers, gardens and plants. I also sing along with every song on the radio in the car.
