John is a second generation Latinx who leads the therapeutic space through trust, safety and humor. His lens recognizes the power of resilience and the courage it takes to ask for help.
John specializes in crisis counseling, strength-based, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral approaches. He appreciates the unique abilities of children, adults and families. His previous experience includes supporting folks in crisis, anxiety, depression, trauma and other stressors.
When he is not at work, John is often thinking about food, the west coast, family and plants (in that order). He experiences life through his stomach (All foods welcomed).
