More About Jordyn Gorman
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults and have a particular interest in maternal mental health. My clinical experience has focused on supporting women during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the emotional, relational, and life changes that can accompany these transitions.
In addition to maternal mental health, I enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and major life transitions. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and improve their overall emotional well-being.
Clinical Approach:
I believe that healing and growth happen within a safe, supportive relationship. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. I strive to build genuine rapport with clients and provide a compassionate space where they can explore challenges, strengthen resilience, and navigate life’s transitions with confidence.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy running, practicing yoga, gardening, and spending quality time with my family. I value the opportunity to slow down, connect with loved ones, and spend time outdoors whenever I can.
