More About Karsen Yelle

Clinical Interests:

My main focus is helping couples who are struggling, whether it’s around intimacy, frequent arguments, broken trust, or just feeling distant from each other. I especially enjoy working with partners who feel stuck in the same frustrating patterns and want to communicate more clearly, feel closer, and rebuild trust. I also work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, or trauma, as well as those looking to better understand how to show up more fully in their relationships.

Clinical Approach:

I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation: honest, supportive, and focused on what matters most to you. I work with you to figure out what’s working, what’s not, and what you’d like life or your relationships to feel like instead. I pull from a few different approaches depending on what fits best, but at the heart of it, I try to help you tune into your emotions, understand your patterns, and feel more in control of your own story. My therapeutic approaches include Solution-Focused, Experiential, and Narrative Therapies. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for premarital or marriage assessments, and I am trained in Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Whether you’re coming in as a couple or an individual, I strive to create a space where you can speak openly, feel truly heard, and begin making meaningful changes in your life or relationships. My style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I won’t shy away from difficult topics, but I’ll meet you with respect, curiosity, and compassion every step of the way.

Hobbies:

I enjoying spending time with my family, playing video games with friends, and reading fantasy novels. After a long day, I typically unwind with some time playing the piano or walking with my ever-energetic Border Collie.
