More About Katie Koplin
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests center around supporting individuals navigating trauma recovery, complex relational dynamics, emotional regulation, self-worth, self-understanding, and identity development. I am particularly drawn to working with clients who have experienced attachment disruptions, mood disorders, addiction, and life transitions.
Clinical Approach:
My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, integrating cognitive-behavioral strategies with narrative therapy, attachment theory, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic insights. I bring a spiritually integrative lens to my work, honoring each client’s unique beliefs and values while exploring how spirituality can serve as a source of resilience, meaning, and healing. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported as they build emotional resilience, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate meaningful connections. With a joyful spirit and a grace-filled presence, I aim to walk alongside clients with warmth, curiosity, and compassion—empowering them to live in alignment with their values and aspirations, and to move toward a life that feels authentic, connected, and whole
Hobbies:
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading reflective, spiritual, and fictional literature, gardening, and engaging in creative practices that help me stay grounded and inspired. I deeply value the presence of family and close friends in my life and prioritize cultivating relationships that are rooted in authenticity, mutual support, and intentional connection. These relationships not only enrich my personal life but also inspire my clinical work, reminding me of the importance of belonging, empathy, and shared growth These hobbies not only bring me joy but also support my own sense of balance and well-being, which I value deeply in both my personal and professional life.
