Clinical Interests:
Katie is passionate about working with kids and helping them through the first steps in their mental health journey. Katie primarily works with elementary age children; before joining Sagent, she worked in early childhood education and in child/family private practice as a Mental Health Practitioner. Katie loves to use play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to encourage a positive relationship between not only herself and clients, but also with clients and their inner selves! Katie believes in the power of positive imagery and positive self-talk in the therapeutic process. Katie is currently in the process of getting her LPCC.
Hobbies:
In her free time, Katie likes to paint, bake, and travel. She has traveled to many different states, as well as Canada and Sweden, but her dream destination is Skopelos, Greece. Her favorite days are lake days with a side of paddle boarding!!
