More About Katrina Gruber
Clinical Interests:
I am passionate about supporting individuals across the lifespan (6+), with specialized training and experience in working with children and adolescents. I have experience treating a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and related symptoms.
Clinical Approach:
I recognize that each individual’s experiences are unique, and I strive to best understand you and your specific needs. Grounded in a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, I aim to meet you where you are and empower you to lead your treatment. My work is informed by psychodynamic theory, with the integration of DBT and CBT interventions to help you explore the impact of your experiences and build effective coping strategies.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy trying new foods, exploring sites around me, hiking with my dog, going to the zoo, and spending time with my friends and family. I am a big lover of animals and have had pets throughout my life of many different species.
