Clinical Interests:
I use a trauma-informed approach with the belief that we have all had adverse experiences or trauma in our lifetime. I commonly pull modalities that include CBT, EMDR, Attachment Therapy, ACT, IFS and Somatic-based therapy. There are many other cognitive and behavioral techniques that I may incorporate if there is evidence that doing so would benefit you.
Clinical Approach:
I believe that healing occurs using a client-centered and collaborative approach. I focus on creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I am here to listen, support, and guide you on your healing journey with empathy and respect.
Hobbies:
I am an avid baker, which I’ve been doing since childhood. Baking is my meditation that provides with me with peace and calm. I am a veracious reader with my favorite book being Marlon James’ The Book of Night Women. I am a child of music and dance. As a foodie, I enjoy speding time with my spouse at new and interesting restuarants around the Twin Cities. I enjoy adventuring with my spouse; and on a quiet night, you will find me cuddling with my fur babies, Koa, a Belgian Malinois & Australian Shepard mix, and Sofi, a calico.
