I use a cognitive behavioral approach to help individuals recognize the connection between their thoughts feelings and behaviors. I support clients in identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and practicing healthier coping and problem solving strategies that align with their goals. I use a skills based rehabilitation approach by teaching and practicing practical life skills such as emotional regulation communication stress management daily routines and independent living skills. I focus on repetition modeling and real life application to help clients build confidence and consistency. I take a strengths based approach by focusing on what individuals already do well.
