Hi I am Matt,

I have worked social work, substance abuse and therapy since 2007. I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed alcohol and drug counselor. I have had a license in gambling treatment in the past. I specialize in nervous system therapies: internal family systems, somatic therapy, accelerated resolution therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. I utilize movement/ emotional regulation skills to prepare people and not have them overwhelmed in nervous system therapies. I help people dig into and listen to feelings/body sensations. I personally utilize daily exercise, sound and body movements (even in sessions) to make myself emotionally and mentally more connective in sessions. I love to spend time with my family/friends, going to the dog park, sports, gym and yearly vacations. I tend to work a lot with complex trauma, autism, anxiety, former military and alcohol and drug abuse and have some specialization in these.
