Clinical Interests:
Peter is trained as a mental health clinician with additional training in athletic counseling and sport performance psychology (CMPC). He has extensive experience working with individuals coping with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief/loss, and OCD. His experience includes: work at Creighton University in Omaha & other practices in the Twin Cities/Omaha as both a clinical and athletic counselor with 20+ years of competitive running/coaching experience (Division 1/semi-professional). Peter is also the head cross-country and track and field coach at Spring Lake Park High School in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

Peter utilizes a multi-disciplinary/holistic approach in counseling both athletes and mental health clients From a clinical standpoint, Peter uses evidenced based therapeutic techniques that involves treating the whole person, while taking a person-centered approach. He also assists athletes and high performers with “off the field” and “on the field” issues to help maximize their performance as complete individuals using sport counseling techniques.
Peter takes pride in providing a judgment-free zone where you can be authentic about where you’re at in your mental health journey, and receive the compassionate care you deserve. I strive to break down treatment barriers and provide you with customized and individual counseling services based on your specific needs. Peter also specializes in working with individuals of all ages and those seeking care for a variety of needs.
Hobbies:
Peter’s hobbies include: distance running and competitive road racing, coaching, spending time with his wife, son, and pets, traveling, having movie and tv show marathons, spending time outdoors, and trying as many restaurants as he can in the Twin Cities area.
