Clinical Interests:

I chose the field of addiction counseling because I want to help people who are struggling with addiction. Having a family member who has dealt with addiction inspired me to understand the disease more deeply and motivated me to return to school. Through this journey, I realized that addiction is not a choice but a disease that requires treatment and compassion. I believe I made the right decision pursuing this field, and I am committed and ready to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is client-centered and built on empathy, respect, and evidence-based practices. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them recognize their strengths. I view addiction as a disease that requires treatment and support, and I plan to use motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and cultural sensitivity to guide clients toward recovery.

Hobbies:

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family, volunteering in my community, and staying active through walking and outdoor activities. I also like learning new skills and exploring topics related to mental health and personal growth.
