More About Samantha Alley

Clinical Interests:

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions such as parenthood, divorce, career changes, and aging. I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, strengthen their resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness. My goal is to support clients as they build practical skills, deepen their sense of purpose, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Clinical Approach:

Everyone’s story is unique, shaped by personal experiences, relationships, and life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and compassion, creating an environment where you feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while recognizing your own strengths and capacity for growth.

My approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and evidence-based cognitive and behavioral strategies. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will explore the experiences that have shaped you, build practical tools, and move toward a life that reflects your values, goals, and hopes for the future.

Hobbies:

I value family, meaningful relationships, and the simple moments that bring balance to everyday life. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my blended family, which includes my husband, seven adult children spread across four states, extended family, and our two dogs.

I feel most at home outdoors—whether camping, savoring a quiet morning coffee on the deck, or watching our pups play at the dog park. I also enjoy thrifting, reading, listening to music, taking the occasional deep dive down a YouTube rabbit hole, and exploring new places on road trips.

These experiences keep me grounded and continually remind me of the importance of connection, curiosity, and finding joy in life’s everyday moments. I believe those same qualities—presence, compassion, and genuine curiosity—are essential to building meaningful therapeutic relationships.
