More About Sheilah Lundin
Clinical Interests:
I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) dedicated to supporting adults aged 30 and over as they navigate the complexities of mental health and personal growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Clinical Approach:
I specialize in working with individuals managing anxiety, depression, work-related stress, and life transitions, as well as those living with serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. I also provide support to individuals who are justice-involved, offering a nonjudgmental space to explore challenges and build stability.
My goal is to meet each client where they are, offering practical tools, compassionate care, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship to help them move toward meaningful change.
Hobbies:
Outside of my work as a therapist, I value quality time with friends and family and find joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. I have a deep love for animals, enjoy gardening as a way to connect with nature, and find creativity and calm through cooking and baking. I also prioritize self-care and mindfulness, making space to be present and fully engaged in the moments that matter—whether that’s sharing a meal, tending to a garden, or simply spending time with loved ones.
