More About Sheilah Lundin

Clinical Interests:

I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) dedicated to supporting adults ages 30–60 as they navigate the complexities of mental health and personal growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). By providing a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment, I help clients identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and work toward their personal goals.

Clinical Approach:

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, helping them develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and achieve their personal goals. I also help individuals who have experienced trauma, utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support healing, reduce distress related to traumatic experiences, and promote recovery. Additionally, I provide support to justice-involved individuals, offering a nonjudgmental and supportive environment to explore challenges, build stability, and foster positive change.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs. Through collaboration, compassion, and practical skill-building, I strive to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting improvements in their lives.

Hobbies:

Outside of my work as a therapist, you’ll often find me spending time with the people and animals I love most. I believe some of life’s greatest joys are found in simple, everyday moments—a shared meal, a meaningful conversation, a walk outdoors, or a quiet evening with loved ones. Practicing mindfulness and self-care helps me stay grounded, allowing me to bring authenticity, compassion, and presence to both my personal life and my work with clients.
