More About Sophia Steinberg

Clinical Interests:

I work with adults navigating a range of mental health challenges, with a particular focus on anxiety and depression. My approach is grounded in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, better understand patterns in their thoughts and emotions, and develop practical strategies for change. I draw from evidence-based practices to help individuals build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and balance in their lives. I am especially interested in supporting clients through life transitions, stress management, and the impact of chronic worry or low mood on daily functioning and relationships. My goal is to collaborate with each person in a way that feels empowering, personalized, and aligned with their values.

Clinical Approach:

I am a clinician who uses Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a strengths-based perspective to support meaningful change. I work collaboratively with clients to explore motivation, set practical goals, and build on existing strengths. My approach is client-centered, goal-oriented, and focused on helping individuals create sustainable progress in their lives.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with animals—especially my three pets: my dog, Penny, and my cats, Kit and Cat. In my downtime, you’ll usually find me watching true crime shows, playing card games, or cheering on the Vikings on Sundays. I love connecting with friends and family whenever I can, and I also enjoy getting creative in the kitchen with cooking and baking.
