Clinical Interests:
Stefanie provides individual therapy. Stefanie specializes in anxiety, self-esteem building, and struggles unique to individuals and youths in LGBTQ communities and their families. In addition, Stefanie helps clients address issues that include, but are not limited to, self-injury, identity, depression, grief /loss, life transitions, and communication, as well as supporting parents of emotionally disturbed children. She also conducts ADHD and Executive Functioning assessments for children, adolescents, college students and adults. Utilizing screening tools and a complete history, she can help determine if ADHD or other Executive Functioning impairment is present and, if so, offer interventions to help cope. In addition, Stefanie is able to document the assessment findings for schools, doctors, or others as requested with clients’ completed release of information.
Clinical Approach:
Stefanie is devoted to assisting clients to use their own strengths to overcome life’s challenges. She is dedicated to helping youth realize their own potential. As a parent of children with emotional disturbances, Stefanie better understands the unique challenges placed on parents whose children have serious mental health conditions.
Hobbies:
Stefanie loves all things Disney, binge watching shows with her husband, and taking her kids to fun sites all over St. Louis. She also loves reading and enjoys checking out the books on the Truman Nominees list and Mark Twain Nominees list.
