More About Suzanna Yoder
Clinical Interests:
I believe that all people have the capacity to grow, and I am happy to work with clients of all ages. I am especially passionate about working with teenagers. My areas of interest include trauma, attachment, life transitions, relational issues, and couples therapy.
Clinical Approach:
I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and a strong belief in the healing power of connection. I prioritize building a trusting relationship where clients feel comfortable exploring what brought them to therapy. My approach draws from several therapeutic modalities including Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed treatment, which I will adjust to meet the specific needs of each client. My style is casual, collaborative, and nonjudgmental.
Hobbies:
In my free time I enjoy being in nature, hiking, and riding my bike. I also love sitting on my porch with a good book and a cup of tea.
