More About Talia Thompson
Clinical Interests:
I have a strong clinical interest in working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and trauma-related concerns. I am particularly drawn to evidence-based approaches such as Prolonged Exposure therapy for PTSD, and I have a growing passion for addressing treatment-resistant depression through integrative and trauma-informed modalities.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is grounded in client-centered and trauma-informed care. I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other integrative modalities to meet clients where they are and support their unique goals. I prioritize creating a safe, collaborative space that honors each client’s cultural background, lived experience, and personal strengths. My work is guided by a deep belief in people’s capacity for resilience and growth.
Hobbies:
Outside of work, I love spending time in nature—hiking, paddleboarding, and biking on the weekends keep me grounded. When I cant be outside, I enjoy playing video games and snuggling with my two orange cats.
