Clinical Interests:
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. I am interesting in working with single adults and continuing working with children, adolescents, and families. I have worked with individuals at all stages of their mental health journey. My goal is to meet individuals where they’re at and partner with them and/or their families to reach their goals and aspirations. I have knowledge and/or experience with anxiety disorders, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, conduct disorders, behavioral concerns, substance use, and other concerns. I have experience in working with youth in out of home placements, foster care, and other systems involvement.
Clinical Approach:
I enjoy collaborating with clients and/or family from an integrative approach. I strive meeting clients and/or family where they’re at to help them reach their therapeutic goals. I would like to be a support for you as you learn and grow into the person you want to become or as you finding this out. I like to incorporate different skills and techniques to bring self-awareness that also align with you goals and that increase overall positive coping skills. The therapeutic approaches I use are CBT, TF-CBT, DBT informed, play therapy techniques, solution-focus, psychoeducation and others as appropriate. I am here to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with all my clients and/or their families and create a safe where you feel you can express yourself. My goal is to work collaboratively on what is best for you and/or your family and welcome further discussions as we get to know each other.
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Most often you will find me talking my dog for a walk or listening to a podcast. I enjoy reading and I enjoy cooking/baking. Fill free to share book recommendations or your favorite recipes.
