Announcing our Q3 2025 HOPE Hero, Maddie Sachs

We're thrilled to celebrate Maddie Sachs, HR Manager, as our HOPE Hero for Q3 2025! Maddie is based at the corporate office in New Brighton, MN, and has been a key resource supporting managers and employees since December 2013. 

Our HOPE Hero Award recognizes individuals who live out our HOPE Values: Humility, Optimism, People-Centered, and Ethical Practice.  

Representatives of the HOPE Squad, Annie Pope (Executive VP, Clinical Operations), Shannon Smith (HOPE Squad Chair), Alex Davis (HOPE Squad Past Chair) and Amy Wysocki (HOPE Squad Member) were joined by Mark Peterson, Chief Executive Officer, and other Executive Leadership Team members to present Maddie with this award during the HR All-Staff Meeting on January 15, 2026.  

The notes from those who nominated her make it clear she is someone who lives our HOPE values. They said: 

• “Maddie consistently shows humility through her self-awareness and eagerness to learn. She listens deeply, values input from everyone, and always ensures that credit and responsibility are shared. Her calm, respectful presence reminds us that every team member is important and valued.”  
• “At her core, Maddie is people-centered. She genuinely cares about every individual she interacts with, creating a safe and inclusive space where people feel heard, respected, and supported. Her compassion, kindness, and nonjudgmental approach ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued.” 
• “Maddie doesn’t just view challenges as obstacles—she sees them as opportunities to make a difference and treats it as a privilege to help others.” 

Maddie said when accepting the award, "I am so blessed to have been able to do work with so many wonderful people over the years, work that helps support our community.  I'm also very excited for what lies ahead for us."
