More About Adam Brosz

Clinical Interests:

I meet clients where they are at in life. I see clients with a wide range of circumstances and concerns. The use of evidenced-based approaches, catered to the client, provides flexibility and freedom in the therapeutic journey. This calls me to stay up to date on clinical modalities that match with unique needs. I have experience with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, family issues and other diagnoses and domains. My strengths-based approach requires me to value social justice and neurodiversity. This can uncover the sometimes-hidden beauty people possess inside. Partnering and building strengths people already have can be a big part of the work.

Clinical Approach:

I take time to build rapport and feelings of security in the process. Listening can lead to deeper goals for therapy. The people I’ve met and worked with have woven a fabric of stories I pass on to others. I stay current with research and strategies used by colleagues to provide professional supports. I use a bio-psycho-social approach and draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma modalities, mindfulness, meditation, hypnotherapy, and other strategies as needed. I like to incorporate in our time together, skills and techniques that bring a sense of calm and self-awareness that can help you stay in the moment. I am here for you, and we will work together with the best approaches that aligns with who you are.

Hobbies:

My family calls me to adventure in the outdoors, or to just plop on the couch. I enjoy long immersions in the woods, building things, music, laughter and togetherness. Working to finish, or lose, that long list of things to do, leads me to connect with my community, family and friends.
