More About Anne Jacobsen
Clinical Interests:
Anne has clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families helping with a diverse range of adolescents to adults in areas such as anxiety, grief and loss, depression, stress, life transitions, adolescent developmental concerns, interpersonal problems, trauma, PTSD, combat and military family related issues.
Clinical Approach:
Anne works with evidence-based practices that support mental health by addressing the mind, emotions, body, and spirit. She provides a holistic, person-centered approach that combines therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral, existential, expressive arts, and somatic techniques. Anne offers integrative spiritual/Christian counseling drawing from psychological theories, evidence-based practices, and Christian theology—to form a cohesive, tailored approach to therapy. Anne’s experience as a military family member—first as a child, then a spouse, and now a mother—brings deep understanding and compassion to her work. She is passionate about making therapy feel welcoming and stress-free, helping you discover strengths, develop new skills and strategies, heal, grow and thrive.
Hobbies:
When Anne isn’t working as a therapist, she enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, playing yard games, riding ATVs, relaxing by a bonfire, grilling, and listening to music- all with her family.
