Clinical Interests:
Ashley loves working collaboratively with individuals and families willing to approach counseling with an open mind and willing to try new things with the aim of finding a path towards change that works for them. Ashley enjoys working with people of all ages and anyone coming to see her can expect warmth, empathy, and genuine compassion as she works to hold space for your story, perspective, experiences, and emotions and honor you as the storyteller and expert. She values building a mutual relationship that helps foster growth as well as a safe, affirming space for you to be creative, confident, and brave, in finding your unique strengths and in telling the rest of your story the way you want it to be told.
Ashley has experience working with depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, family relational conflict, adjustment and transition difficulties, trauma, educational struggles and advocacy, LGBTQ+ topics, and neurodiverse populations. Areas of further interest for her include continuing to learn about grief and loss throughout the lifespan, existential exploration, rural mental health, and perinatal and maternal mental health. Outside of work Ashley enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
