Clinical Interests:
Billie Jo is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. This means she is passionate about relationships and has experience in healing trauma and stress from a body-orientated perspective. She believes that we are all searching for meaning in our lives and encourages clients to trust themselves, explore and be curious and nurture helpful relationships in our lives.
Prior to joining Sagent, Billie Jo has been in the mental health field in a variety of positions since 2005. She is excited to get back to working one on one with clients. Outside of work she enjoys motorcycles, her two dogs, friends and family and reading.
Clinical Approach:
Billie Jo tailors her treatment methods to meet the needs of her clients, always keeping them at the center of the therapeutic work. While she is versed in several treatment modalities she views the world through attachments, nurturing healthy attachments and healing our wounds through the body/mind connection. One of her greatest joys in her work is seeing her client learn they have the answers and ability as they become more confident in themselves.
