Clinical Interests:
I work with adults with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, anger, substance abuse, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem, stress reduction and co-occurring issues.
Clinical Approach:
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and strength-based therapy. I enjoy positive psychology and prefer to focus on solutions, strengths, and assets. I feel it is important to view each person from their unique cultural experience with a nonjudgmental stance. I believe in the biopsychosocial model and understand health and functioning as being systemic in nature.
Hobbies:
I enjoy fishing, theatre, movies, nature and spending time with family and friends.
