More About Danelle Rohweder

Clinical Interests:

Danelle is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor whose passion for the field was shaped by her personal life experiences. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and brings both professional expertise and lived understanding into her work. After retiring from the Air Force in 2023, she developed a deeper awareness of the need for mental health providers who understand the unique experiences of veterans and military families. As the spouse of a retired service member, she also has firsthand insight into the challenges of supporting a loved one during active duty.

Clinical Approach:

Danelle works with clients from diverse backgrounds and values inclusivity across abilities, race, sexuality, gender identity, religion, and political beliefs. Her clinical areas of focus include trauma and PTSD, couples and family dynamics, grief, anxiety, depression, substance use, and Christian counseling. She is trained in EMDR and integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including DBT, CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.

Hobbies:

Outside of her professional role, Danelle lives in the south metro with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially during Minnesota summers, and appreciates being outdoors. She approaches therapy as a collaborative process and believes each person has the capacity to create meaningful change in their life with the right support and perspective.
