Clinical Interests:
Janel is an LADC and Psychotherapist in training (LPCC) who believes in the power of personal narratives. With a foundation in Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) she enjoys working with people to discover – or rediscover – their innate power and strengths. Through a systems and trauma informed lens, Janel supports her clients holistically. She believes everyone has a story worth listening to and will join with her clients to provide a safe and judgement -free space to share and discover their personal narratives.
Janel received her MA in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University. Outside of work she enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with lifelong friends, practicing yoga, and is an avid reader.
She welcomes all clients age 16+.
