Clinical Interests:
Jean’s goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment that allows you to explore your pain or other symptoms which bring you to therapy. She feels privileged to be able to assist you in your journey through life’s transitions. Jean has over 15 years of experience working with adults with a variety of concerns including codependency, managing anxiety and depression, recovering from grief and loss, chronic pain, trauma and abuse, or issues related to gender/sexual orientation.
Clinical Approach:
Jean’s style is predominately Client Centered, and is informed by Psychodynamic Theory, Jungian and Depth Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive therapy. She has also completed beginning level training in Somatic Experiencing.
Hobbies:
Jean enjoys spending time with her family, as well as traveling, hiking, gardening, reading, and poetry. She is a Missouri Master Naturalist and spends time volunteering and advocating for environmental concerns.
