Clinical Interests:

Kat is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who provides therapy to older adolescents, young adults and adults. She is a trauma-informed and client-centered therapist who believes that each person has inherent worth and the ability to heal and overcome.

Kat uses a trauma-informed lens to help clients understand and create change in their lives. She uses a variety of approaches to tailor treatment to individual strengths and needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.

Prior to joining Ellie, Kat provided counseling to high school students in inner city Indianapolis, IN. She earned her Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
