Clinical Interests:
Dr. Wood is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and holds a certificate in hypnotic regression. She enjoys working through integrated approaches that embrace humanistic, experiential, narrative, solution-focused, and systemic theories.
Clinical Approach:
She trained under Dr. Bill Forisha to learn and integrate Gestalt, experiential approaches to mental health and healing. She encourages her clients to explore meaning and honor their unique perspectives. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, and families large and small.
Hobbies:
Outside of work, Lauri enjoys music, reading, writing, movies, textile crafts, and spending time with her family.
