Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests focus on working with children and adolescents (ages 0–18) experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, adjustment disorder, and much more. I have experience facilitating family sessions that incorporate psychoeducation, skills development, and talk therapy to support both youth and their caregivers. I plan to offer group services designed to strengthen social-emotional learning and create a supportive space where children and adolescents can build connection, confidence, and coping skills.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is person‑centered and grounded in collaboration, integrating mindfulness, grounding techniques, and practical coping skills to support clients in building resilience. I draw from CBT and ACT to help people recognize patterns, develop flexibility, and move toward what matters to them. I also support individuals navigating grief and major life changes. I find psychoeducation an important part of the therapeutic process to help my clients understand their experiences and feel empowered in their healing process.
Hobbies:
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy staying active through time at the gym, recreational volleyball, and golfing with my family. On a whim, I became a licensed yoga instructor a few years ago, which has deepened my appreciation for the connection between physical and mental well-being. I love traveling with my husband, especially to places with beautiful scenery, and hope to experience an African safari one day. On a calm day, I value spending time with my younger sister and the foster children in our home, who bring a great deal of joy and perspective to my life.
