Margaret is a counseling intern completing her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at NDSU. She grew up in Wisconsin and moved to the Fargo/Moorhead area seven years ago. She worked as a one-to-one paraeducator in elementary public schools before deciding to pursue counseling.
Margaret is interested in working with anyone willing to create a safe and comfortable space with her on their mental health journey. She is willing to meet you where you are, whether through nature, art, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), or solution-focused therapy. You are the expert, and she is someone willing to walk beside you to help you see it.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys walks in nature with frequent “can I pet your dog?” stops, creating art through painting and music, trying to keep her plants happy, reading almost anything (not too scary), and sharing space with the people she loves.
